Across the UK, the National Saturday Club gives 13-16-year olds the opportunity to study subjects they love for free at their local university, college or cultural space. It provides a unique chance for young people to build their skills, develop their confidence, and discover pathways to further study and future careers.

We're delighted to be partnered with National Saturday Club, helping encourage filmmaking groups within our extensive network to sign up and be a part of their Film&Screen Saturday clubs. These film-centred clubs take place in numerous locations across England and Wales, with more soon to open in other areas of the UK.

The Film&Screen Saturday Clubs celebrate and explore the breadth of film and screen, from production, editing and sound design, to VFX, scripting and animation. It's a space to find out about opportunities, gain practical and technical insight into filming, editing, sound and lighting, and embracing the art of storytelling and its ability to entertain and educate.

A new batch of Film&Screen Saturday Clubs have recently started up in locations across England. Each Club has a limited number of places, and some Clubs prioritise young people from certain backgrounds, so why not explore the Clubs near you and see if any of the young people you work with can take part.

We're proud to be supporting Film&Screen Saturday Clubs with our own additional resourcesfilmmaking and careers guides, as well as access to the Into Film+ streaming service, allowing us to help enrich their activities and further inspire even more young people to pursue filmmaking and careers in the screen industries.
