On Monday the 23rd of December 2024 we chose a film which is loosely based on a group called the Supremes and on how they became famous back in the 1960s the film was called Dreamgirls which was about a group of three girls called The Dreamettes which were made up by Effie White who was the main singer and her two backup singers who were Deena Jones and Lorrell Robinson until one of her back singers who was chosen by a man called Curtis Taylor who took the main role off her. So now The Dreamettes were lead by Deena Jones who made them get to the top of the charts. This review has only been given a three star rating which means we found the film OK because in my younger sister's opinion she has seen better musicals and she found the film very hard to follow its storyline so that is the reason why she gave the film three stars. Thank you for reading our film review on Dreamgirls if you have one what is your favourite group of the 1960s?and is there a film about that group and what songs do they sing. We hope you can join us for another Christmas challenge this year in December.
