The movie came with a great responsibility to truly portray Steven Hawking and his story. This movie is emotional but not a sob story. There is a clever switch between comedy and pity. Multiple times the movie made me laugh. Probably to show that the movie isn't all miserable. But it really brought out the sad moments. music was a vital part in it too. There is jolly music through the most of the film but combined with well timed silence and close ups and wide shots the contrast between good and bad times really showed. They created a true atmosphere without question. Though this movie is complex at parts it is perfect for a family of slightly older kids. I gave this movie 5 stars and definitely recommend watching it
