"Mrs doubtfire" tells the story about a divorced man who misses his children desperatedly, who dressed up as a 60 year old british nanny in order to be with them as their babysitter.
Mrs doubtfire is fulled of funny scenes, from cringy jokes to clumsy moments of Daniel ( Robin Williams ) who tries to cover his disguise as Mrs Doubtfire, the film never fails to make use of every second to make the audiences laugh.
Unfortunately, the characters in this film are quite linear and bland. Daniel ( Robin WIlliams ), who disguised as Mrs. Doubtfire, was the only character with an interesting personality in the film in my opnion, he was humorous, caring, hilarous, and the performance from Robin Williams was superb. But for the other characters like Daniel's ex-wife Miranda, she is just a typical busy mom who lacks care towards her children, and Stu, his motivations for his actions were not clearly explained, making the character quite random.
The film also ended quite abruptly, the second half of the movie felt rushed and disorganised, yes there were funny scenes but all of them felt disconnected and predictable after a few repitions.
Overall, the film is enjoyable and hilarious if you just want to sit back and enjoy a funny film, but not a great film in terms of character design and plot organisation.
