Hacksaw ridge is based off of a true story and is about a young Desmond T. Doss, who is played by Andrew Garfield, that enlists as a medic in World War Two. His journey is inspiring and motivational. The movie has the perfect balance of action and drama. I really enjoyed this movie because of it's originality and strong message. It stood out for me because most war films are about guns and violence but this is about love and peace. This movie spreads an amazingly strong message and that is how peace can win the war instead of hatred. I was moved after watching this movie and I hope you will be/have been moved also. I love this movie and it is one of my favourites ever so I hope you like/liked it too. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
