Full of love, this movie was set in the hard and unfair times of WW1 and how people's lives were affected and nobody really cared about the poor boys that were forced to fight. It had a great story line and it told a story that many families during the time of WW1 could relate to . I would have liked the story to of moved slightly faster as it sort of focused on one part of the movie for a long time . The main part of the film was about two devoted brothers who didn't want to fight and to leave their mother, brother and friends. At some moments of the film there were some rather aggresive moments where the the brothers were fighting and this wasn't very nice to watch. I also didn't really like it as in the book the female characters were very strong minded and in the movie they didn't have a very big part compared to the book. For me this film was very like war horse however, this movie focuses more on the life of the soliders that had to dig and work in the trenches and War Horse is mainly based on the horses and the men fighting on the front line. It is very sad but it teaches us that no matter how upset we are , or how bad the world around us is, we should always stay positive and help those who need it. I would recommend this movie to any children over 10 who likes films about the bravery and determination that the men who fought for England were.
