Turner And Hooch (1989)

This film will without a shadow of a doubt make you shed a tear, well unless your a moody, careless person who doesn't care about dogs but if you do care then get the tissues ready! This film made me laugh, cry and nearly fall off my seat because of how tense things got during the end...

Although this film made me upset the humour in it is funnier than any comedy I have ever seen before and the puns throughout it are like the cherry on top of it all. Turner (aka Tom Hanks) was definitely my favourite character as I loved how the audience got to see how he went from having a strong hatred against Hooch the dog to loving and making best friends with him at the end. I also noticed whilst I was watching the film that Turner and Hooch start to become like each other and it seems like they switch characters.

The story-line of the film was about a detective called: Scott Turner who has to solve a case that all started off when Hooch's owner was killed and he was the only witness of the murder. Scott then has no choice but to keep the dog to help sniff out the clues! On the way he meets the girl that he falls madly in love with and the results Scott has gathered from the clues all add up and are very surprising.

I would recommend this film to all my friends and family, but no_one who is under the age of 7 because although the film is a PG there are still plenty of touching parts in the film.

Over all I would rate this 5 stars out of five as this is an excellent film!
