A truly fantastical film, which elaborately and artistically merges fantasy within reality. There's never a dull moment in this film, not when the bold setting, laced with an array of vibrant colours, gives you plenty to feast on. Guillermo ingeniously manages to envelop a set of completely outlandish situations within the plot. For this reason, Pan's Labyrinth scores high with me.
