Synopsis

The huge, half-horned, just about good-natured Hellboy battled against the fiendish Rasputin in the huge hit of the same name back in 2004 - now, he's got yet another villain to face. But rather than a (more or less!) human foe, he's facing a different kind of enemy - an elf king named Nuada, who's determined to conquer the entire human race with a vast clockwork army. But Hellboy's problems don't end there - because his very complex relationship with girlfriend Liz is about to become even more knotty.

What our educators say

"It really is a chance for us to open children's minds to the power of film not just as a vehicle for entertainment but also as a way in to understanding their own world and the worlds of people whose lives are very different."

- Marlon Perkins, Teacher, Whitstable and Seasalter Endowed CofE Junior School, Kent
