Sunshine Sunshine is a British science fiction film based in the year 2057, about the crew of a spacecraft on a dangerous mission to the dying Sun, the crew is sent to reboot the Sun with a massive bomb. The first spacecraft was lost seven years previously for reasons unknown, failing its mission. A second spacecraft with a new payload is sent to the Sun in a final attempt. During their journey we watch the crew deal with losing many some heroic crew members and them struggle to for fill the task of saving the sun. Little did they know a saboteur was on board, a member from the past failed mission was living on board of the star ship just waiting to strike. At the end we watch as the main character defeats the mysterious saboteur in gruesome battle for dear life on the very edge of the demolished starship so close to the blazing sun. He realizes this is the end for him and his one other surviving crew mate, and his all of the little strength has left to trigger the bomb in time to re-ignite the Sun. With the sparks of the stellar bomb multiplying, Capa watches the inner surface of the Sun burst through one wall of the payload capsule, as space and time break down. He reaches out and touches it, smiling blissfully. The film fades to a blank screen then shows Capa's sister on earth years later. Suddenly, the sky brightens an indication of the mission's success; she looks to it and smiles in the same blissful fashion as he brother. Over all I enjoyed the movie even though I felt it quite to get the ‘action’ and main plot of the movie.

A visually stunning sci-fi about a hippy caretaker of a space-station greenhouse, who turns against his bosses when he's ordered to return to Earth.

Clever, inventive sci-fi film about an astronaut running a mining operation on the moon, with a robot as his only source of conversation.
