There's something spooky afoot in a foreboding 19th-century English mansion in this atmospheric, gothic ghost story, adapted from The Turn of the Screw by novelist Henry James. Employed to take care of the two orphans living there, governess Miss Giddens becomes convinced that the house and grounds are haunted. As the initially angelic youngster's behaviour becomes increasingly strange, accompanied by unexplained apparitions, the governess begins to wonder whether events are tied to her predecessor's unfortunate fate. Are vengeful spirits trying to corrupt the children's innocence - or is her fear merely a sign of Miss Giddens' own insanity?
Creepy, atmospheric English ghost tale about a man who finds a strange whistle in a graveyard, and blowing it, sets off a terrifying chain of events.
