In the third of their adventures following A Grand Day Out and The Wrong Trousers, inventor Wallace and his dog Gromit are running a window-cleaning business. In the course of their duties they encounter a wool shopkeeper, Wendolene, who Wallace becomes attracted to. However she has a dog of her own, Preston, who is secretly stealing sheep to supply their shop. When Preston discovers that Wallace has invented a machine which shears sheep and knits the wool into jumpers, he steals the blueprints and frames Gromit for his crimes. Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave is a typically funny and charming adventure which won an Academy Award and introduces audiences to Shaun the Sheep for the first time!
