Designed for primary school teachers and packed with activities you can try out straight away, this free, short course introduces strategies to immerse your pupils in their learning using fascinating archive films. You’ll cover how historical footage can bring the past to life to inspire descriptive recount writing and scaffold pupils’ thinking to build memorable persuasive arguments.
As you learn, you’ll be able to try the activities, share your work with fellow educators and have a go at our film tagline quiz. We’ll also give you access to complete lesson resources so you can make the most of your new skills and share the excitement of learning through film with your pupils.
