2. This competition will runfrom 07.30 Tuesday 5 March 2024 to Sunday 21 April 2024 (23:59) for emailedentries and Thursday 18 April (23:59) for postal entries (the "Closing Date").Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. Responsibilitywill not be accepted for corrupted, illegible, incomplete, lost or damagedentries, whether due to system error or otherwise. Proof of posting or sendingis not proof of receipt and proof of entering the competition is not proof ofthe Promoter's receipt of entry.
3. This competition is open to people aged 13 to 19 ondate of entry resident in the UK except:
(a) employees and agents of the Promoter;
(b) employees of Swatch LTD - The Prize Giver whoseregistered offices are at Swatch LTD, Nicolas G. Hayek Strasse 1, 2502 Biel,Switzerland
(c) or any company connected with the production ordistribution of this promotion or any of their associated companies, or
(d) members of the immediate families or households of(a) to (c) above.
Proof of eligibility must beprovided on request.
4. No purchase necessary.
5. Only group entries will be accepted. Minimum of 5 people in a group, maximum of 10. Entrants can be part of more than one groupentry if they wish.
6. To enter the competition, you must complete the AboutOur Film sheet, Entrants' Details sheet and Time to Inspire Storyboard sheetfor a short film:
- in response to the competition theme -Time to Inspire
- that is live action i.e. not animation
- that could be filmed in no more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds
- that is consistent with the criteria of aU certificate from BBFC - for more details see https://www.bbfc.co.uk/rating/u
Ifyou can't print the sheets, then you're welcome to recreate then in typed or ahandwritten format.You can submit up to two completed storyboard sheets.
Thestoryboard must be drawn i.e. not made up of photographs/film.
Entrantsmust be the owner of all the rights for the content they submit. Entries mustnot containany unsuitable, obscene, offensive or defamatory material. Entries which do not adhereto these terms and conditions may be removed from the competition.
7. Entries will be judged on:
- creativity;
- how clearly the idea iscommunicated; and
- howwell the storyboard captures the theme and how it will translate onto thescreen.
The competition will be judged in two phases.
Phase 1: Ashortlist of groups will be selected from the storyboard and about our filmsheet entries to attend a full day workshop.
Phase 2: Duringthe full day workshop, the shortlisted groups will be supported to furtherdevelop their film idea and to pitch it to a panel of judges who will choose onewinning group who will then work with a professional production company to maketheir film (the "Prize").
The judges' decision will be final, and nocorrespondence will be entered into.
8. All entrants must be able to commit to the followingtimeline:
If shortlisted:
Saturday 18 May 2024 Attendance at an all-day workshop (likely to be in London). Reasonabletravel and/or accommodation expenses as needed will be covered and we will workwith you to accommodate access needs to enable your group to participate fully.If it would not be appropriate for your group to travel for this workshop, alternativearrangements can be made.
And in addition, if you win:
Working with Into Film and a professional productioncompany (who will be experienced in working with young people and fully DBSchecked) to make your film during June 2024. We anticipate that you will needto commit to about 20 hours in total, the bulk of which will take place between15 and 23 June with some shorter planning sessionsfrom 1 to 14 June. Sessions can take place duringschool hours, after school and/or at weekends. We will work with you to planthis schedule and will cover reasonable travel costs being as flexible aspossible and we ask you to commit to the same. The sessions will happen at alocation that suits the winning group.
Being in communication with Into Film and theproduction company to sign off your film during July 2024, dates will beconfirmed at a later date.

Taking part in Into Film andSwatch publicity and promotional requests as appropriate.
As per Into Film's Safeguarding and Child Protectionpolicy, all children and young people will require a chaperone to and from theworkshop on Saturday 18 May 2024 and an educator, youth leader,parent/carer will have to be present and responsible for the safeguarding ofthe young people.
And in addition, if you win:
All members of the group, including where appropriatetheir responsible adults, will need to sign permission release forms for thefilm. You do not have to commit to being on film to be part of the winninggroup. If you are to appear on film, you and where appropriate your responsibleadult, will also need to sign a consent to be filmed form.
As per our Safeguarding and Child Protectionpolicy, all children and young people will require a chaperone to and from any sessionsand an Educator, youth leader, parent or carer will have to be present during sessionsand responsible for the safeguarding of the young people.
If the above conditions arenot met by the shortlisted and winning group(s), the prize will be awarded to entrantsthat do agree to them.
9. The Promoter will not pass onthe winning competition entry details to anyone other than the Prize Giver.
10. Entries should be submitted by email as a photograph,or scanned copy of the entry form to entries@intofilm.org with the subject line‘Time to Inspire Competition' or posted to FREEPOST RTAE-BAZG-CSZZ, Into Film,31 Islington Green, London N1 8DU. You must submit the About Our Film,Entrants' Details and Storyboard sheets. If you can't print the sheets, thenyou're welcome to recreate then in typed or a handwritten format. If you find it difficult to fill out theabout our film sheet, please dictate what you want to say to someone else whocan transcribe it on to the sheet for you.
11. Entries must be submitted by an authorised adult(teacher, youth worker, parent, guardian, carer etc) on behalf of the group ofyoung people.
12. All entries must detail the group's name, all entrants'first names, ages and school/youth provision etc where relevant, the group's UKtown/city and county/location, and the name and email address of the group'sauthorised adult as well as their relationship to the group e.g. teacher, youthworker, parent/carer. The authorised adult who submits the entry on behalf ofthe group must state their permission for all young people in the group toenter the competition by:
a. signing their name on the competition entry sheet;
b. confirming they've read the terms and conditions; and
c. confirming that if their group is shortlisted, thegroup will be available to attend an in-person workshop in London on Saturday18 May 2024 (reasonable expenses covered) and, if they win, takepart in about 20 hours of filmmaking workshops in June 2024.
13. The shortlist of groups will be selected by anindependent panel of judges from the Promoter and Prize Giver. The shortlistedgroups' authorised adult will be notified by email (to the address on thecompetition entry form) on Friday 26 April 2024. All other groups willalso be notified by Friday 3 May 2024 via their authorised adult's email addressthat they have been unsuccessful.
14. The winninggroup will be chosen soon after the workshop day on Saturday 18 May 2024 and thedecision communicated to all the groups via their authorised adult.
15. The winning group will work with a professionalproduction company to make their film which will be screened as part of the prereel at all screenings (c 2,000) at the Into Film Festival 2024 and across IntoFilm and Swatch online platforms.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify anentry if it's believed the competition entrant is not able to qualify theirentry as their original work.
17. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonablediscretion:
a. to disqualify any competitor whose conduct iscontrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and todeclare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct.
b. to declare as void any claims or entries resultingfrom any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but notlimited to any error(s) on this website, and/or other printed materials) orwhere there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conductof the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the numberof claimants or the value of claims.
c. to add to or to waive any rules where it becomesnecessary to do so.
d. and/or to cancel the promotion or any part of it atany stage in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control.
18. No part of the Prize is exchangeable for cash orany other prize. If an advertised Prize is not available, we reserve the rightto offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
19. Competition entries will be anonymously and securelydestroyed 30 days after the competition prize has been delivered to protectpersonal data included on entry forms. Competition entries become the propertyof the Promoter and cannot be returned, so please remember to retain a copy. Feedbackwill only be provided to shortlisted entries.

20. By entering the competition, the entrants agree to bebound by the rules and by other requirements set out in this competition.
21. If there is any reason to believe that there has beena breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its solediscretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in thecompetition.
22. These terms and conditions are governed by EnglishLaw. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, thenthey must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
