Each year our Ones to Watch surprise and excite us with their skills, enthusiasm and potential. A key part of the Into Film programme is to support young people into the film and screen industries, helping their future career opportunities. Every year at the Into Film Awards we strive to shine an even brighter light on three young people who have already achieved great things - to help them even further.

For the Ones to Watch category, sponsored by EON Productions, we choose three winners who all get to walk the red carpet, receive their trophy on stage at the London awards ceremony and have their work celebrated in front of some of the leading names in the UK film industry. Not only this, but they also get some incredible prizes and career progression opportunities.

A reminder of what the three Ones to Watch winners receive:

  • A cash prize of £1,000
  • Career progression support through BAFTA (including involvement with the annual Young BAFTA Showcase in November 2025)
  • Ongoing exposure through the Into Film website, social media and communications channels with future press opportunities to showcase their work.

Entries to the 2025 Into Film Awards close at midday on Tuesday 4 March.

So, do you know someone who could be one of this year's Ones to Watch? Someone who has creative talent and skills and deserves recognition? If so, enter on their behalf for a chance to win.

Three young filmmakers (aged 13-19) will be recognised at the 2025 Into Film Awards and win prizes to support their filmmaking journey.

You will be asked to provide at least two examples of films that the young person has made. You may also include a show-reel. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to provide extra documents or web links to further evidence and support your nomination.

  • To be nominated, the young person in question must be aged 13-19 years of age and reside in the UK
  • The nominee, via a nominated adult, should be advised they are being notified in advance of the submission
  • Nominations can be made by any adult on behalf of a young person aged 13-19 (with the consent of a parent or guardian to support the nomination).

Three of our Ones to Watch from the 2024 Into Film Awards attended an event at BAFTA recently to sit in on some fascinating careers panels, and take part in their own private roundtable discussion with professional filmmakers. Read the full article to find out more.
