We’ve worked with Disney to create a new resource for pupils aged 6-11 to celebrate the return of Moana and Maui to the big screen in Disney Moana 2, only in cinemas November 29.
Our free resource uses sounds and music as stimuli for pupils to learn about the main characters of Moana 2, giving learners the chance to develop their musical abilities using collaborative, creative and fun activities which draw on rhythmic concepts and styles.

Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an all-new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania for an adventure unlike anything she's faced before.
Moana 2: Musical Adventures includes a fun activity and creative competition for learners in KS1 & KS2. The materials draw on the new film to engage pupils and support learning outcomes across music, literacy and KS1 maths.

Our Bring the Beat interactive classroom activity is curriculum linked to both music and KS1 maths and is sure to bring collaboration, creativity and fun to the school day!
Your class will be inspired by the characters from Moana 2 who have each been assigned a musical sound which can be recreated through body percussion.
Pupils will achieve KS1 & KS2 learning outcomes as they decode a pattern of character images into a series of sounds, creating a musical sequence which can be performed.

Learners can take inspiration from Moana and Maui embarking on their new voyage, alongside a crew including HeiHei the adorable rooster, and Moana’s playful pet pig, Pua.
We’re challenging your young wayfinders to get creative and use their drawing and writing skills to design their ideal adventure companion.
To enter, learners should design an adventure outfit for themselves, alongside a drawing and description of their sidekick. We’ve included a handy word bank to help them get started!
