To use Into Film+, you will first need to set up a free Into Film Account, and provide some additional information about your organisation. You will also need a Public Video Screening (PVS) Licence to stream films on Into Film+.
Follow the steps below to get started with Into Film+.
If you have an existing Into Film Account, and want to stream films on Into Film+, it's easy to upgrade your Account. Either go to your Profile, or try to stream an Into Flm+ title, and you will be taken to a sign-up form where we will verify that your organisation has the required licence. Once this information has been verified, you can start streaming!
Please note that once you purchase a PVS Licence, you may have to wait up to 4 business days before you will be able to access Into Film+ while your new licence is processed by Filmbankmedia.
Please note: it is not possible to upgrade to Into Film+ Premium, which is currently only available to state schools in England that are funded by the Department for Education. Find out more about Into Film+ Premium in our FAQs.
If you are a school, please make sure that you have your URN/SEED/IRN reference to hand when you upgrade your Account. If you're not sure what your reference number is, you can find more information about this in the How Do I Get a Licence? section.
If you are a non-school organisation, please make sure you have a PVS Licence Account No. to hand. You can find more information about this in the How Do I Get a Licence? section.
Filmbankmedia are our principal content, licensing and streaming technology provider for Into Film+.
Filmbankmedia licenses and distributes film and TV entertainment to many groups and is the licensing authority we work with to ensure schools, libraries and youth groups have the permissions to screen films from our catalogue.
You can only stream films while located in the registered location of your PVS Licence. This is also the location that Filmbankmedia has for your organisation. If your registered organisation address is incorrect or has changed, please contact Filmbankmedia.
