In this session, which complements our Filmmaking for Primary Literacy online course, you'll learn how you can use filmmaking principles in lessons to develop your pupils' literacy skills.

Through tech-free activities, you'll discover how film editing principles can help learners with sequencing ideas and creating cohesive pieces of writing. We'll also share youth-made films, and explore step-by-step how young people can create compelling films with minimal equipment. You'll have a chance to create your own three-shot short film so you can see for yourself how simple it can be!

This will be a great chance to connect with other educators who are looking to use or are already using filmmaking with young people. You'll come away with useful resources to support you in enhancing your pupils' literacy skills with filmmaking.
