Happy New Year to you all, last year myself and the family done another film challenge for the 24 days of Advent but we had a little delay in writing our film reviews because I had to change my log in details so that is why our reviews could not be written on the day that we watch them. So on Sunday the 12th of December 2024 we watched a very different musical that was set in Paris France in the year of 1899 where a young English poet whose name was Christian comes to Paris to pursue a penniless career as a writer, while he is in France he meets a group of Bohemians who tell him that he should try a write a musical and take it to be performed at the Moulin Rouge which is the most famous underworld night club in all of Paris. This film is about finding romance, having hope and courage and learning redemption. Will Christian and Satine have their happily ever after or will a duke get the prize instead. This review has been given a three star rating which means we found the film OK because we thought that there was too much singing like every scene just broke out into a new song but it did follow the story on what was going on. The film also reminded us of a another film which was Romeo and Juliet as it was based on a love story between two people that could not be together. Thank you for reading are review on Moulin Rouge I hope you all had a nice New Year and I hope that the future will be a bright one and many years to come.
