Gladiator released in 2000 in my opinion is the perfect action movie this film combines all elements you want to see in an action film it contains thrilling fight scenes amazing moments and great character arch’s and its gripping story really makes you connect with the film itself especially with its amazing character design and the beautiful scenery builds up and up and up and really makes you despise the emporier

This film also has some amazing special effects and really does well with showing these war scenes. The opening scene in my opinion is amazing and the sound design is really good and it really quite

minimalistic which shows the way the film moves in a really interesting way characters are fabulous. I think that the iconography of that thumb showing the fate of the person is just so iconic and you really couldn’t imagine it being in any other film

I don’t think the film is perfect some bits of the film definitely dragged on and the camera work could’ve been a little bit better my opinion And the whole dynamic between Commodus and his sister is really hard to watch and makes the film quite uncomfortable in those scenes obviously was important to the film but it does make you a little bit uncomfortable

But my favourite part was just how entertaining it was. It’s just a really good time and I will highly recommend it to anyone. Just looking to have some fun. It has some really high highs and really low lows and keeps you really engaged in the story. And nowadays I feel like it is hard to find a movie that is able to keep your attention that much like this film does.

But in my opinion, this film is a perfect action movie it keeps you on the edge of your seat really gets invested in the characters and it’s overall a really good time
