After really enjoying the first Shrek movie and being blown away by Shrek 2, Shrek the Third just feels like a filler movie that does nothing amazing and reuses elements of other Shrek movies but not done at all well. Prince Charming was a good side villain alongside his mother but this movie try's to make him the main antagonist which doesn't work as he doesn't have the effectiveness of his predecessors. Prince Arthur is really annoying and Merlin (voiced by Eric Idle) pointlessness and Eric is wasted in the role. Shrek and the other main characters are fine and i like the visual elements at points in the movie but other than that, this film just feels like its waiting for something bigger to happen.
