Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)

It's way too common that sequels can be better from the first and a amazing movie or a complete backfire disaster which is a down grade from the first. For some reason critics like this movie and got an Oscar nominated (Thank God it did not won). When re-watching this movie I absolutely HATE this movie with a burning passion! Should this movie called Ralph WRECKS the internet not BREAK the internet? Without any more saying lets get in and why is terrible sequel: Concept: On paper video game characters into the internet doesn't sound bad however I mean video games and the internet are technology but the two are completely different things like Ralph doesn't search your history so it doesn't fit well in my opinion. Plot: The movie starts off with Ralph and Vanellope , when the Mr litwak introduce the Internet to the Ralph said "Wifiy"... get it its Wi-fi GET IT! The scene where Ralph decided to go TURBO and go Sugar Rush because Vanellope is bored of the race track. Its not only forced in so the plot could happen , its out of character Ralph to do that and its very stupid to do! When Vanellope crashed and causes the girl to BREAK the controller ( Idiotically) , Mr FitWak try's to put the controller to the machine and BREAKS it! Its so stupid why would you do that Mr Flitwak , you should have called the people who repair the machine but no he is stupid I guess. When Ralph seeing the kid saying eBay , he said eBoy which makes no sense since there is no way Ralph could hear that! In the scene when Felix is drinking and said "EEWBOY" which feels forced in so plot could happen again! God a lot of the plot elements is forced in and none of it make sense. When Ralph and Vanellope go to the Internet Disney is shoving product placements like Amazon right to my face, like we don't had to do that its annoying but it gets worse from here as the movie goes on! Twitter existed in this movie not X? LIER! The scene where Ralph and Vanellope is constantly keep putting numbers higher like idiots and not realising that makes it more expensive. But then we finally got a good scene where Spamley suggest to go to steal a car for money in slaughter race (which I like the Gimmick of Spamley) but wait another good scene?! I like the Slaughter race scene. But unfortunately it the good didn't last long and we get the lame chase and at the end Ralph and Vanellope give back the car to Shank which is not pointless but smack to the face to the audience and the people who thinks out side of the box like they are doing that "No STealINg Is BaD" message and the writers forgot that Ralph has super strength and can easily destroy them and they video they DON'T DIE its not murder! If Ralph destroyed Shank and gang (I wish) then the movie will be over its that easy, its so stupid in fact it reduces anything good what I said about Slaughter Race! Moving on to Buzz Tube not YouTube … WHAT KIND OF MOVIE IS THIS?! The algorithm says that you can make a lot money by making videos is just impossible because if you are a YouTuber and want to make money its going to take a while and you wouldn't make actually money its like saying Games of Thorns is a easy game that's not how it works! >:( Its clear that the writers did not research it and creates a messy message. Speaking of messy messages the Scene where Ralph is getting low videos views and FORCED people to watched his videos by removing the Cat video and stealing likes and the boy got annoyed so is it a good thing Ralph is taking views or is it a bad thing which the boy got annoyed?! I think not! That's not how Algorithms work! They don't decided what is popular in the YouTube. Every video is giving a chance and compare the other videos to the audiences and show the video to them it depends how much the video is view and not decided. If the video has good thumb-nail and the quality of the content and Ralph being an idiot again. Oh my God the Oh My Disney scene is soooooooooooooo PAINFUL TO WATCH! Honestly this scene really makes me wish I watch other Disney movie and not this Nightmare. NOTHING Happens in this scene its product placements everywhere! This the Corporate side of Disney showing only popular ones (Example Let it go song from Frozen) HOW DID THEY mess up Buzz so much borrow Pixar's model Buzz Disney and you own Pixar by the way! People say the Disney princess scene is the best part of the movie but I don't agree because all of the princess are out of character like Cinderella , you know what she do first? She BREAKS her glass slipper to turn into a weapon , why would you do that! The Glass slipper is something of high value and importance it feels like a insult to the original movie if you asked me! When Belle said that she is kidnapped and slaved which is completely WRONG if you watch Sleeping Beauty you know she wasn't kidnapped she choose it to save her father and she isn't got to anything else she is the Beast's Guest and she gets to go anywhere except the West. Should I mention some of them look off like Pocahontas , Cinderella and Tiana , this is further proof you can't replace 2D Animation with 3D Animation as there are some art styles that only work in 2D Animation. This line "Do People assume all your problem got solved because a big strong man showed up" , Vanellope: Yes what is up with that" I mean first of all not even accurate , its completely discredits every important action in any of the Disney Princes did previously , even said actions were vital to defeating the villain and saving the world. Let Me tell you Disney having characters INSULT other characters and putting beneath them dose not make the stronger IN FACT its the exact opposite effect it makes the characters more UNLIKABLE but on that its just a lame way to "quote- quote feminism" then Disney needs to reboot their systems like back when Disney released Mulan which is the best written strong female character and no other character came on top of her. Enough of ranting lets go to the next scene , no more ranting yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh my fav! At the scene Ralph thinks Vanellope is brain washed , seriously I need to pause this and rant how stupid like first Ralph doesn't accept Vanellope for making new friends other himself, second RALPH you are with her the THETIRE TIME and Last Ralph is complete VILLIAN , do you see the problem the point in Wreck it Ralph is that Ralph is not a bad guy and the people who see Ralph as a bad guy are wrong and there more to Ralph then being the bad guy like that's the point of the movie but noooooooooooo Ralph is a complete villain here! Not only I'm upset with Ralph character assassinated but the virus is the worse part because the stupidity this movie's insecurity goes so far that it actually straight up RETCON Vanellope's Glitch to something that's only happen because she is insecure as the virus copies her glitch as an insecurity and distributes her insecurity to other parts of the race making it that her glitch is literally only her insecurities. All Right PIN HEADS who is responsible for this change and say its okay because have a talk of this hell-Scape. If you don't understand why I'm I upset because you see in the first Vanellope's Glitch is a subtle representation Dyslexia and Disabled people and part of the message in Wreck it Ralph is that you could be still great even you have a disability and its wrong for other people treat you less for have it. But the writers throw it into the trash. This movie thinks that glitch represent everything negative about her so it is exclusively as a bad that need to be cured! Do you see the problem , this is insulting not only the characters but to the audiences too with Dyslexia! Disney you disgusted me beyond words! There is an idiotic BREAK up scene which Ralph and Vanellope BREAK up over that misunderstanding with on the nose dialogue. Not a great plan Ralph , moving to the virus ... again Ralph insecurities into the virus doesn't makes any sense since I though insecurities are only used for glitches and release an army of Ralphs. HE HE IM IN DANGER! And the movie never explain what happen to the virus I NEED ANSWERS! After the virus lame fight scene and do the theme which is Clinginess can ruin friendships and other relationships, I'll give them that its an important thing to learn. If only this made sense because IT MADE NO SENSE because A its over the top how it portrays this clinginess ,2 it replace everything what Ralph countless actions and put him in this situation and D IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY LOGICAL SENSE! The virus only scanned and copies Ralph Insecurities meaning that there shouldn't be anything positive in those viruses and at last we get the ending but one more thing Vanellope's just walk away without saying good bye to her friends and nobody is noticing this?! This movie takes too long its 1hour and 35mins long , its longer then your average movie but not as long as fantasia and Moana but this nowhere near enough stuff in it to justify its run time like I said the Slaughter Race scene is completely pointless like go get the wheel but no money let's go get money by stealing the car by no we must make money by cringy videos oh now we got to promote cuz more money oh wait Vanellope wants to go place but Ralph makes her leave but the virus got crazy, you get my point, this movie is just a wasted of your time honest and the movie jumping one to the other. So plot Sucked. The Horror....... XP Comedy: This movie 90% of the comedy is NOT FUNNY because THIS MOVIE IS CONSTANLY MAKING JOKES BASED ON MEMES. We find memes funny at first but a year later nobody laughing any more and just found it annoying. In movie Writing NEVER USED MEMES because it always never works and as a result it is very cringe! They want you to laugh and jokes like mentioning Fornite , saying Chewbacca dad , goat screaming and Ralph saying Goggles instead of Google is extremely cringe and I hate it! If I mention all of the cringed jokes then we will be here all day, a life time! But the rest 10% is funny , mainly Spamley and the Purple guy which is the only good thing about this Nightmare! Characters: Ralph and Vanellope are Out of character! In fact they are the two most idiotic , unlikeable Disney protagonist ever made! I had no where to start! Okay lets start off with Ralph since I had more to talk about. Ralph is complete idiot and a obsessive best friend like he says eBoy instead of saying eBay because Ralph saying wrong words is apparently funny. For some reason Ralph is so protected over Vanellope and calling her his "best friend" is very out of character and he barely talks to Felix or other video game characters out side of Vanellope. He reads the comments are got his feels hurt. Dude you literally ignore because it can be trolls and the comments are pretty pathetic not to mention they repeat and say "OMG I HATE RALPH" EMOJI. His obsessive behaviour to Vanellope is both creepy and toxic like I hate that! The only time when Ralph acts like himself is when he distracted Shank. This is the part that upset me the most when watching this nightmare. Ralph character assassinated trait list: Saying wrong words Over protected Stupid Cowardly Selfish Lacking Morals since he is 30 years old and he acts like a whiny baby FORCED other people to like him For Vanellope , her song (no offense to voice actor but her voice sounds annoying when singing) is about going TURBO that's her character! I hate her because she is very selfish to the other players like why , isn't she the queen , who treat everyone with respect. I though so. And on top of that she leaves Sugar Rush and go to Slaughter race because Shank is cool, I guess? She didn't say good bye to her people and who is going to queen the place and who is going to notice that Vanellope is gone? This teaches the audiences that if you find this place boring its okay to go to another place (even your actions are selfish) because its cool. This in my opinion this is a terrible message and Vanellope doesn't earn it because she is very selfish to her people and justify all of her actions. Shank is a terrible character because it shows how perfect she is which makes her a Mary Sue! This movie well always prised her to be cool and only existed to make Ralph to look like a baby loser by being nice and who needs that Ralph guy Do you want to be Shank! ha ha ha WHAT ARE THEY THINKING! Felix and Calhoun is barely in the movie and I do not understand why! At the end they make a parent joke and my disappointment is Immeasurable and my day is ruin. Like I said earlier the Algorithms are written incorrectly so not much to say here but I wish this movie the Algorithms are the twist villains of this movie. Speaking of this movie with villains this kicked started the non-villain trend which is a bad thing for the later Disney movies like Strange World or Raya and the Last Dragon with no villains because in my opinion the villains are the most member able aspect of the Disney movies and this movie has none that. Disney had gone to make The Hunchback of Notre Dame ( Well written villain) to Zootopia (Bad written twisted villain) to Ralph Breaks the Internet (No villains which they should have an opportunity). Redeemable qualities: Not everything is bad about his movie in fact there is a few good things like: Spamley and purple guy are pretty funny , in they are the only good likable characters Good looking animation The dark web background is neat design I like the Tron scene When Ralph and Vanellope visit the Slaughter Race scene But all of it doesn't make it any more enjoyable since the comedy is 90% cringe and tied with a bad story. Final thoughts: WOW WHAT A RIDE! I was surprised this movie sucked so much! This movie is on power with the Emoji Movie! Its strange since Ralph Breaks the Internet is released a year after the Emoji Movie. Is it the worst sequel? I would dare to say yes it is in fact the worst sequel ever! Is it the worst Disney movie? (What I had seen so far maybe time will tell there would be a worse sequel then this) Yes its totally Disney's Number 1 worst! You can say its CLASSIC JUNK! Oh John Lasseter, I had seen better days when you directed Toy Story. :( My Treatment: How can I fix this movie? First I make this movies timeline when the internet is getting popular and causes the arcade sales slowly declining and the point where the arcade had to close and everyone had to escape and go to the internet without a home and Ralph and Vanellope had to discover and try to keep the arcade alive from shutting down by Spamley suggest YouTube (not BuzzTube) and begin to realised the Algorithms is twisted villains for something but Ralph and Vanellope had to accept the arcade shunting down and had to to their different while beaning best friends. Yes I Ignore some parts of the movies since there is no way I had to change it but keeping some elements while making it good and similar theme to the first. I CAN FIX IT Conclusion: If I had one word to describe Ralph Breaks the Internet it is … Commercial. The word came from criticism of the Mario movie like how come did the Mario Movie was criticize for being "too commercial like" but Ralph Breaks the Internet gets away for free and that's sum it up. The plot is forced in and doesn't work which makes it very messy, the character's are unlikable or completely under used , most of the comedy is an embarrassment with cringe-inducing of memes , this movie forced other IP's which feels like products placements and bland CGI, distribute the Disney princess , it shows how Disney is so unable to make good sequels it fails miserably and the cherry on top got everything wrong unlike Wreck it Ralph got everything right, that's Ironic because Wreck it Ralph is my favourite Disney movies but Ralph Breaks the Internet is my less favourite Disney movie. This shows how much Disney became a corporate Identity. This is why Ralph Breaks the Internet is a terrible TERRIBLE sequel!
