Welcome to day 19 of our Christmas challenge with today's film being a musical based on a famous town that appeared on the map in 1904 which is called Meet me in St Louis. This film is about the Smith family and their four beautiful daughters, including Esther and little Tootie. Esther who is 17-year old has fallen in love with the boy next door who is called John. After 3 weeks of John living next to the family he has never noticed Esther. While eating one evening The family is shocked when Mr. Smith reveals that he has been offered a position in New York, which means that the family has to leave St. Louis. If they leave St Louis they will miss out on attending the St. Louis Fair if they move to New York. This review has been given a 4 star rating which means we liked it because in our opinion it is a good musical but it is not one of our favourites. This musical also has one famous Christmas song featured in the soundtrack which is have yourself a merry little Christmas sung by a famous actress which you will know her if you have read the review on one of her other films. Thank you for reading this review on Meet me in St Louis, I hope that you will stay tuned for tomorrow's review for day 20 of our Christmas challenge.
