Green Lantern

5 stars

16 Sep 2023

On Wednesday which was the 13th of September 2023 I chose a DC film with Ryan Reynolds who plays a character named Hal Jordan who has been chosen by a powerful ring which made him become a hero known as the Green Lantern. Here is a little bit about the film The Guardians of the Universe have divided the universe into 3,600 space sectors, each one is protected by one powerful Green Lantern who is selected among fearless beings and supplied by a ring fed by the willpower from the planet Oa. But when the evil force Parallax who is fed by fear destroys several Green Lanterns, except for one Green Lantern whose name is Abin Sur who manages to flee in his spacecraft but crashes on Earth. Mortally wounded, his green ring seeks out a new successor for him and finds the reckless but efficient test pilot Hal Jordan. Hal Jordan then learns about the Green Lanterns and is bestowed with the powers of the ring. Meanwhile, scientist Hector Hammond is summoned to conduct an autopsy of Abin Sur and is possessed by Parallax. Hal Jordan is then insecure about his fears and uses his powers for the first time in a party to save the life of people from a Ferris Aircraft helicopter damaged by Hector and later he discloses his identity to his former colleague Carol Ferris, who is the beautiful daughter of Carl Ferris and who he is in love with. When Parallax threatens Earth, Hal Jordan is the last hope to defend his planet from destruction. Will he save his planet in time or will Parallax win over the universe. This review has been given five stars which means I loved it because Ryan Reynolds is one of my favourite actors but I think I like him better in this film than in his other film which is called Deadpool because even though its funny he does a lot of swearing so I do not recommend young teens watching it without their parents. His other film I like is called Red Notice where is stars with Gal Gadot who plays Wonder Woman and is also in 4 of the Fast & Furious films he also stars with one of my Mum's favourite actors which is Dwayne Johnson who plays as a Interpol agent who attempts to hunt down and capture the world's most wanted art thief. Thank you for reading my review for Green Lantern my next films are Iron Man 2 on Sunday and next Wednesday is a film called Sherlock Holmes which has the same actor who stared in Iron Man 2 and Mark Strong is also the actor I have chose for next week. I hope you all have a nice weekend and I will see you all next week.
