On Thursday which was the 20th of July 2023 me and my family decided to watch Harry Potter's second year at School and continuing though his story instead of watching a James Bond film which we all do on a Thursday so that is why this film was watch on a different day. So the next film in the series I am writing a review for was called Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets. So welcome back to another new term for Harry and his friends at Hogwarts School for wizards and witches but before that we are shown Harry back at his muggle relations for the summer holidays where it is nearly the end of them. So on the night before Harry is due to go back to school he has a strange visit from a house-elf named Dobby with a very important warning which is not to go back to Hogwarts this year. But Harry ignores his warning, and returns to his true home. When he gets there he is still famous and still disliked by Snape , Draco and the rest of the Slytherins. But then, strange things start to happen at Hogwarts like People are becoming petrified, and where bloody writings are appearing on the walls, revealing to everyone, that someone has opened the Chamber of Secrets again. This is also were attacks start to happen and could bring the possibility of the closure of Hogwarts if the person is not found and caught. Now Harry and his friends are forced to secretly uncover the truth about the chamber before the school closes or any lives are taken. But no one knows what is doing it or who. Then one day Harry starts hearing a voice, a voice which seems to be coming from within the walls. That is when they are told about the story of the Chamber of Secrets which is a legend. The Legend is about It is said that only Salazar Slytherin's true descendent will be able to open it and take control of the monster that lives there which is a Snake. After the story the whole school think its Harry because they find out that Salazar Slytherin can speak Parsel-tongue. but so can Harry which should be impossible to do. Parsel- tongue means you can speak to snakes and to control them by telling them what to do. That is when Harry also finds out the monster is a Basilisk which is a big snake with yellow eyes who killed a girl fifty years ago with the help of a Slytherin whose name was Tom Riddle before he came Lord Voldemort because fifty years ago he was only a sixteen year old boy who was a student at the school but he could not open the chamber of secrets while he was at Hogwarts because Dumbledore was keeping a very good eye on him. This review has been given four stars which means I liked it because the reason why I have not gave it a five rating is because I really did not like the new teacher for the year that teacher's name was Gilderoy Lockhart because I think he is useless when it comes to the safety of the students and he is also a big cheat and liar to other wizards when it came to his books because he made people believe that he did those things like spells and famous things but really the other wizards done them instead and wrote about their journeys.
