Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters (2013)

On Wednesday which was the 19th of April 2023 I watched the second film to the Percy Jackson series it was called Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters which is all about The Camp for Half-Bloods is protected by Thalia, a daughter of Zeus who sacrifices herself to save the young Annabeth, Grover and Luke from an attack of Cyclops. She then was transformed by her father into a magical tree. One day out of the blue, Percy Jackson is visited by his unknown half-brother who is a Cyclops whose name is Tyson they then discover that Thalia was poisoned and is now dying. Then the camp is attacked by a Colchis Bull but it is vanquished by Percy. They soon learn that Luke is the one that has poisoned the magical tree. That is when Annabeth discovers the mystic Golden Fleece which is capable to heal Thalia and save their camp. But Mr. D assigns the winner demigod Clarisse who is the daughter of Ares [the god of war] to go on a quest to find and retrieve the magic fleece. However Percy Jackson, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson decide to follow an ancient prophecy that Percy was told by the oracle. They go to the dangerous journey though the Sea of Monsters to recover the Golden Fleece from Luke who also wants the fleece to revive the evil Kronos to destroy Mount Olympus and the gods mainly Kronos's three sons you are Zeus, Poseidon the god of the sea and Hades the god of the underworld. Can Percy and his friends stop Luke in time or will there home not be safe anymore for young demigods. This review has been given five stars which means I loved it because the film shows why the world of demigods is protected from the outside world by a special barrier that should not be broken. I must now read the book series to find out more about Percy Jackson's life as a demigod. My next set of films with Steve Coogan in are called Night At The Museum series where he plays the character whose name is Gaius Octavian. I have all ready done reviews for the first and third film but not the second film so I am watching them again.
