On Wednesday which was the 12th of April 2023 I watched a film about the Greek God's children who are called Half-Bloods or demigods the film was called Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief. The film is about when his lightning bolt was stolen, Zeus accuses Poseidon's son whose name is Percy Jackson and gives Poseidon's son fourteen days to return it, if he does not Zeus he will initiate a war against the other gods. Meanwhile his teenage son Percy, who has dyslexic and ADHD is visiting The Museum of Metropolitan of Art and is attacked by a Fury disguised as his teacher. His physically handicapped best friend Grover saves him and reveals that Percy is not a normal teenager he is actually a demigod and his biological father is Poseidon, the sea god. He also finds out that Grover is his protector but he is not full human he is actually half goat half man and his teacher Mr Brunner is also not full human he is half man half horse who also runs a camp for Half bloods. He then gives Percy a pen telling him that it is a powerful weapon. They then go to Percy's house and together with his mother whose name is Sally drive to the Camp which is for Half-Bloods like him. However Sally is attacked by a Minotaur and vanishes before Percy can help her. In the camp, Percy befriends the gorgeous Annabeth;who is the daughter of the goddess Athena. They are then attacked by Hades who wants the lighting bolt for himself, that is when Percy discovers that his mother is in the Underworld with Hades. Percy then decides to travel on a dangerous quest to retrieve the lightning bolt and save his mother but he is not alone Grover and Annabeth join him and Luke gives him his own powerful shield to protect Percy with a secret of his own and something hiding in the shield. Will they be able to succeed? or will Percy's Uncle whose name is Zeus get to have his war on the world and the gods or will Zeus find out who the real Lighting Thief is and stop the war from happening you will have to watch the film to find out who the Lighting Thief really is. This review for Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief has been given Five stars which means I loved it because I like learning about the history between the Gods and their children. Here are some of the other films about the gods they are called Clash of the Titans which is about Perseus who is also a demigod and the son of Zeus, Hercules which is also about the son of Zeus who becomes a hero and also becomes a mortal because he full in love with a girl called Megara or Meg for short and Immortals which is about Theseus, who is a mortal man, and is chosen by the gods to fight King Hyperion, a ruthless despot who is tearing Greece apart in his search for a mystical weapon called the Epirus Bow. My next film for Wednesday will be the second Percy Jackson film which is called Percy Jackson; Sea Of Monsters.
