The world of Coralline is fun, kooky and down right scary. The film is about a young girl who goes by the name Coraline who thinks she has a boring life , when she moves to the pink palace she finds a whole other world... The music in this film is just amazing and when you here the 'lyrics' they sound like they found be sung by a foreign children's choir but no, the language was made up for the film and is absolutely jiberish! I absolutely adore this film, and every time I come back to it I find yet another detail I didn't notice before, that's the beauty of stop motion animation. The time and effort that went into making this film is something to be treasured. This is not just a film or book, but a work of imence creativity and skill. Coraline is now my comfort film that I can come back to time and time again and never get bored of it. The film came out just over 10 years ago and is so good it will be enjoyed for at least another decade to come. I would recommend this to anyone 9 years + since some scenes could scare younger viewers. I hope Coraline gives you as much joy, happiness and jump scares as it did for me.
