Peter Jackson directs this amazing classic, prepare to wonder at magic as this films manages to recreate a classic of literature .
The future of civilization rests in the fate of the One Ring, which has been lost for centuries. Powerful forces are unrelenting in their search for it. But fate has placed it in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who inherits the Ring and steps into legend. A daunting task lies ahead for Frodo when he becomes the Ringbearer - to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom where it was forged.
I did feel this film leads well into the sequel, however the dark and ominous colours foreshadow the troubles yet to come in the sequels the memorable music used in the film give it the feeling of fantasy, adventure and friendship.
The actors in this film perfectly execute the contrasting personalities of the characters and create the perfect adventurous feeling I got when watching the film.
I loved this film and would recommend it to anyone who loves films like the the hobbit or other fantasy films. It’s a timeless classic that I’m sure will live through many more generations.
