A very modern fairy tale about a cartoon princess who enters the real world and doesn’t quite fit in.

Enchanted is a 2007 Disney film, it’s basically a micky take on all other Disney movies and that’s why it’s so brilliant. Amy Adams plays Giselle a lost princess who has come from a fairytale land and who claims to reunite with her “true love” only to meet a passer by who may sweep her off her feet. But alas will an evil villain get in the way, or will the power of love win over.
This movie is embedded with actors and actresses who have been in other Disney films, eg: Idina Mendel (Elsa from frozen). This film has multiple singing numbers, all of which represent the protagonists journey to finding love all songs of which are undeniably an iconic part of Disney’s best soundtracks. Pathetic fallacy is used throughout most of the film, in the happier musical numbers you can see the sun clearly shining, whereas at the end it starts raining and thundering to represent the danger of the situation. As well as this, the film includes themes of growth and independence, from going to something you know to having to figure out the world on your own and of course themes of love. I would recommend this movie as it is funny and entertaining to watch for all ages.
