Today is the 23rd of December 2021 which also means the twenty-third day of advent that also means we had one more day of the challenge. The film that was chosen was called The Emoji Movie which was a little bit like the Inside out film but the only difference was the different emotions was inside of your smartphone when in the film Inside Out they lived in your minds. This film was all about A secret world inside your smartphone. Hidden within the messaging app is Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favourite Emoji's live, hoping to be selected by the phone's user. In this world, each Emoji has only one facial expression, except for Gene, an exuberant Emoji who was born without a filter and is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become "normal" like the other Emoji's, Gene enlists the help of his handy new best friend called Hi-5 who he meets and the notorious code breaker Emoji Jailbreak who has a secret identity. Together, they embark on an epic "app-venture" through the apps on the phone, each has its own wild and fun world, to explore. Will they find the Code that will fix Gene. But when a greater danger threatens the phone, the fate of all Emoji's depends on these three unlikely friends who must save their world before it's deleted forever. This movie review has been given five stars which means I loved it because as I have said this film reminds me of Inside Out but with Emoji's instead of emotions which are Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust.
