Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017)

Jumanji is a 2017 fantasy adventure film. In Jake Kasdan’s direction, starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and Bobby Canavale, Jumanji does not fail to impress. This striking story is set in a wild jungle and it gives the audience a sense of magic and exploration. Owing to its very unique plot and its humorous scenes, families can go and watch this film in the confidence that they will have an enjoyable experience.

Put into simple terms, Jumanji is about four American teenagers, who magically get sucked into a game and become the characters that they chose. By going on a quest, and overcoming challenges, the fantastic four have to work as a team to return to the real world. During this wild adventure, the group develop new relationships and new bonds.

After his screen-smashing hit ‘Baywatch’, Dwayne Johnson (also known as ‘The Rock’) came on board and is playing the role of ‘Dr. Xander "Smolder" Bravestone’. Typically, this is the main character of the film: his character has an impact on every character in some kind of way and therefore, Mr. Johnson should be applauded for his performance. Another amazing part of this grand project: Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart is known to be a great comedian and he is always expected to make us laugh. However, Jumanji has shown us all a different side to Kevin Hart- adventurous, courageous and witty. Just like this, there are so many amazing people who have combined and collaborated to make this film a rollercoaster of an experience.

Personally, I feel that the characters play a huge part in the outcome of the movie. This is because, the characters and the amazing actors who play them make the foundation of the film. However, topping all of this is the real hero of the movie is the story. The story is the most important thing of any film because the story takes us on an adventure, it takes us into magical worlds. The setting plays a significant part; it completes the whole experience and sets the mood.

Jumanji is a unique, striking and funny movie and the plot will give you a different feel. When watching the film, the atmosphere will change; your hearts will fill and your mind will run! More than the plot and the actors, the entire praise really should go to the cast and crew. All the immense and intense work that goes on behind the scenes really is not simple. As the film was shot in an exotic destination (the mountainous region of Honolulu), the crew would have struggled to get all the accurate shots and cuts. All the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into this grand project is only to entertain us. Personally, I felt that I’ve never seen anything like it and it was a really very enjoyable experience. I am sure you’ll feel the same.
