For a film set back into the late 90s early 2000 the idea and concept behind parent trap is amazing. Focuses on a younger audience but teens and even adults can watch it and enjoy it. It Takes us on an adventure with Annie and Hallie on a quest to both find their opposite parents they have never met. After randomly bumping each other at a summer camp. They switched themselves to take on a each other’s life’s one in London, and one in the countryside in America. After this once in a lifetime event they gather both the parents and got them to meet and re- live their old marriage and love with both Annie and Hallie by their sides. but things don’t always go to plan which though the film leaves the twins with less hope and more worries. Annie and Hallie are both young twin girls played by the same actress Lindsay Lohan making this film even harder to pull off for the time it was made. I didn’t realise until recently that Lohan pays both the girls making my love for this film stronger and the film its self-more interesting due to the technical challenges the director faced. The cheesy romance comedy elements might not suit everyone but for me this film doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
