This is a fantastic film about a magical girl named Matilda. I liked how Matilda was sneaky, cheeky, funny, intelligent, sweet and kind. I also like how her parents, brother and Miss Trunchbull were mean to her because that is what made it an exciting story. I loved how Matilda used her super magical powers for fun and good reasons because it helped her friends. I also liked how she was able to go to the library and cook her food by herself as I wish I could do this on my own too. Miss Honey was my favourite character because she was kind, helpful, caring and sweet. I think she was also brave to stand up to Miss Trunchbull in scary times. This film was amazing and I recommend it to children aged 6+ because it was a bit scary and a complicated story for younger kids to follow. I think all the actors were great at playing their characters. I liked how they brought the book Matilda to life. I loved how the film had a very happy ending. My favourite lines from the film were when Matilda’s Dad and Miss Trunchbull say 'I'm big your small, I'm smart your dumb, I'm right your wrong and there is nothing you can do about it!'
