Yesterday was Tuesday 12th of January 2021 and I watched another film about a famous author who made a play on a famous boy called Peter Pan and then he wrote a book about this young boy who never wanted to grow up his name was Peter Pan who found a place called Neverland where he fought a pirate whose name was Captain Hook and that is when he decided to stay and live there with other young children called The Lost Boys and a fairy called Tinker Bell that he had met and became great friends until he met a young lady called Wendy. That author's name was James Matthew Barrie he wrote the book in 1904 and one of the titles for the book was going to be The Boy Who Would Never Grow Up but the author decided to called the book Peter Pan that is how it became famous around the world and still read and loved today. James Matthew Barrie got the idea for the play and the book by a family who he had met they were called the Llewelyn Davies boys who inspired him to make the masterpiece. The film was about Mr.Barrie who forges a platonic bond with a widow, whose name was Sylvia, who has four kids. He is motivated to pen a play about a bunch of kids who do not have the desire to grow up, and this ends up bringing them closer and his famous book about Peter Pan which also made history and come to life. I have only gave this film three stars because it was very sad to hear the life that James Matthew Barrie had to live in but apart from that the film was very good and interesting to learn about how Peter Pan became a play on stage and later a famous classic book. Thank you for reading my first film review of this new year.
