This was mum's choice as part of our movie marathon. This film was better than I thought it would be, I thought it would be old fashioned, but it wasn't.
I liked the characters as they were funny, I liked Marta (the little girl) the best. She is cute.
The film follows a nun who gets kicked out of the nunnery, and sent to a family with 7 children, who need a governess. The father is really strict and even calls the children with a whistle. Maria cheers the family up and the they are much happier. I liked watching all of the adventures they go on.
The film is a musical, and I quite liked the songs, especially the one about 'my favourite things. I think Ariana Grande used this song too.
I would watch this film again and think it is suitable for all ages
