I have chosen to do a film review of Back To The Future. Back to the future is a movie that was released in 1985. It was directed by Robert Zemeckis and Written/Produced by Bob Gale. The main characters are played by big stars; Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson.

The film starts when Marty goes to meet his friend Dr Emmet Brown or Doc at Doc’s lab but Doc isn’t there. Then Doc calls his lab and tells Marty to meet him at Twin Pine Mall. Marty gets home that night to find the car that he was going to to take his girlfriend on holiday with Totaled. Marty finds out that The person who crashed the car was Biff Tannen(played by Thomas F. Wilson). Biff was Marty’s Dad Lifelong bully. That night Marty’s Mum tells him about How her and his dad fell in love.

Marty goes to the mall to meet Doc and Doc shows Marty his latest Invention A Time Travelling Car! Doc tests the time machine. Then Libyan Terrorists try to kill Doc. Marty tries to escape in The DeLorean. He accidently travels back in time to november 5th 1955. He then tried to find a way to get back to the future. But meets his father in 1955 who he finds out was not only a kid who got bullied a lot he was also a pervert as he caught his dad spying on his mother changing. Whilst he was spying he fell from a tree and landed in the middle of the road where Marty's Grandpa Almost ran him over but Marty pushed his Dad out of the way but Marty then realised that that was how Marty’s Dad and Mum fell in Love.

So, instead of His Mum falling in love with His Dad his Mum fell in love with him. He then spent the rest of his time in 1955 trying to make his parents fall in love.

Back to the Future special effects still hold up today. The only effect that is awful is when Marty’s hand fades. The Soundtrack for Back To The Future was scored by Alan Silvestri and the theme song of this movie was a pop song called Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News. This film is a very powerful film because whenever i think of the 1980s Back To The Future is the first thing that comes to mind. Even though the film is about time travel I feel that it has a very believable and realistic storyline. Even though the film’s genre is Officially Sci-Fi and Adventure, It has bits that everyone would like and bits from every genre (except for maybe Horror or Thriller).

In all honesty, Back To The Future is my favourite film of all time. This is for many reasons; the soundtrack, The Actors, The Story and The visual effects. I would definitely recommend this film to anyone and everyone who wants to watch it. If you like films in general you should watch this film as it is a classic movie. I would definitely give this movie 5 stars
