Everything Everything
Everything Everything is a romance film that is directed by Stella Meghie; it is about a girl called Maddy, who suffers from a severe immunodeficiency disorder, is forced to remain indoors. She falls in love with Olly, who lives next door, without considering the consequences. The main protagonists are Maddy Whittier; Olly Robinson. The plot of the story is that Maddy Whittier believe that she is sick with a C.I.D and Olly Robinson falls in love with her due to her looks but secretly Maddy’s mother has been lying to her all her life and she doesn’t have a C.I.D. but a weak immune system. This means that she is no allowed outside but instinctively, Olly brings her out to Hawaii from California to see the sea. But after their travels she gets sick and ends up in hospital. While this is happening Olly’s father is abusive and his mother, his sister and him want to move all the way back to New York. In the end, Maddy leaves her mother after finding out the truth and lives with a family friend. Eventually, she leaves on a flight from California to New York and meets with Olly and they start dating.
Personally, I believe that the film would get 2/5 as I was not there for most of the movie but at the end it gives a heart-warming sensation. But the reason it didn’t get a 3 or a 4 was due to the fact there were a lot of awkward scenes and that it was just another typical romance film where you could predict what will be happening next. Overall, I don’t recommend it.
