This movie was made in 1985 so its quite an old movie. It reminded me of Harry Potter and the Philosophisers stone because they are looking for a magical object. The main character reminds of harry because he sounds the same and acts similar, the princess reminds me of Hermione because they are both very smart. There is also a little creature called Gurgi, he also reminded me of a character from Harry Potter and that was the house elf Dobby. My favourite part was when the 3 witches sent the black cauldron off somewhere and flew away, the 3 witches reminded me of the Anderson sisters from the movie Hocus Pocus.
It had scary parts, sad parts and even some funny parts.
