Pacific Rim is a movie about big robots (jaegers) fighting aliens (kaiju) except the kaiju are not from where you think they are. On the pacific tectonic plate boundary, a portal has formed all shapes and sizes of kaiju ranging from category 1-4 emerge and attack coastal cities. Humanity had to fight back and so the jaeger mechs were created. They function by establishing a neural link with the 2 pilots so that every move they make is perfectly synced up. For a while, this worked but the kaiju were learning. Join Idris Elba and Charlie Hunnam for a bunch of alien vs robot fights, world travel and the best speach since independance day. Pacific rim is a blast to watch and it will keep the suspense up.
