I think with me being a boy I found this film a bit girly.

The film was okay in my opinion.

It is a very clever animated film for children and grown ups to watch and think about the future of our planet.

A fairy called Crysta lives in FernGully a rain forest in Australia. She has never saw a human before. She thinks humans are extinct. A logging company arrives at the forest and she finally realises that humans do exist. She shrinks one of the humans who is called Jak and Jak is a boy and he gets shrunk real tiny. Once he has been shrunk he can see the damage the logging company are doing to the rain forest. He helps Crysta the fairy to stop the logging company ruining the rain forest and they try to stop the evil villain Hexxus from ruining everything.

It is a good film to watch but I felt it was aimed more towards girls. Crysta is the main character in FernGully and I know that girls really love fairies and it just put me off a little bit while watching it. I'm glad I watched FernGully once at my intu film club with all of my school friends but I wouldn't want to watch it again.
