I enjoyed this film because of its impressive set design, like the design of the Bucket’s house and all of the details inside the factory itself. However I didn't like how they redesigned the Oompa Loompas, I think that the original costumes and character design were fine.
For me, the most memorable part of the film was when all of the kids were leaving the factory letting the audience see what had happened to them.
If I had made this film I would have kept some of the same costumes and character designs and I wouldn't have Johnny Depp of Willy Wonka because I think he makes willy Wonka quite a creepy dark character and I would have made the songs a bit better.
I have seen the original charlie and the chocolate factory, which was far better than this version of the film although the story is the same the remake has changed some of the events. I like this film but it could have been better.
