I enjoyed every moment of this film. I would definitely recommend this film to others. I recommenced this because it does feature how some people lived in WW2, what jobs different soldier did and also , it stars a mystical Water Horse.
This film , The Water Horse , is based in the early 1940s in Scotland , when WW2 in taking place. The main character is a young Scottish lad , called Angus. When Angus is shell collecting at a beach , he stumbles across a weird looking rock. But is it actually a rock ? When Angus discovers ' the rock ' he found was an egg belonging to an unhatched Sea Creature. He must hide and bring up the Sea Creature without anyone knowing, in fear that it will be taken away from him.
In this film , when bad things happens it was normally night. So I have a feeling that bad and dark had a similarity. My favourite character was The Water Horse. I mainly liked it when the Water Horse or Crusoe , as Angus named him , was being chased around Angus's house by the Cook's Bulldog. I found this hilarious and I think others will too.
Water Horse was filmed in New Zealand and Scotland. It was mainly set in New Zealand , as they had Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu posing for the Scottish loch. Right now , my new favourite sound is a baby Water Horse yelling. For me , I had to include this as it was so cute.
