Romeo and Juliet, in my opinion this film was ok, I found it difficult to follow and frequently got lost in what was happening I also feel that directors and sound technicians weren't careful with the various noises and actions in the shot, their were actors out of character in the background and a lot of reverb and static, I will however give credit where it is due I think the language was accurate and gave a captivating experience also the scenery was well picked in some of the country shots and the town seemed very realistic the living standards however where questionable, there seemed to be rich families living across the street from the homeless beggars. In conclusion this film was alright, I hadn't seen it before and wouldn't see it again I would however recommend it to someone doing film history as I believe it is a good representation of what films used to be like and how far they've come.
