Cool Runnings is an inspiring film that tells us to never give up on your dreams and when you get a chance take it because it might only happen once in your life. This film is about a Jamaican runner named Derice who when doesn't get through to the Olympics and has the idea of creating a Jamaican bobsled team which Jamaica had never had before. His best friend, pushcart champion Sanka, after being begged to, eventually joined the team. They got an American bobsled gold medalist named Irv to coach his team and he said you need a team of four not two, so they got a strong bald runner named Yul and a runner named Junior. Eventually they got into the competition but got laughed at by the best in the Olympics but they carried on. This film reminds me a bit of The Greatest Showman because when people laughed at them they rose above it. My favourite part was when Sanka said that he would draw a line down the middle of Yul's head so it looked like a bum.
