the pretentious soundtrack just provided artificial emotions to portray scenes taking place. It didn’t feel natural at all. Usually films make up for this with good action and choreography, which this film has. but it didn’t make up for everything else. I just got board. I couldn’t tell what was happening in the movie. It constantly switched to different locations without me knowing why. The perspective switched from the government guys spectating the main charecter to other random countries, so that any sense of realism for the main character was. In a lot of the scenes the camera is shaky, which works in fast paced action scenes. But there’s a panning shot in the film where the camera is unnecessarily shaky. The acting from Nicky Parsons wasn’t great. Tommy Lee Jones as a classic actor gave a great performance, and i thought Riz Ahmed performed some good acting. He realy captured the way people giving acededemic conferences talk. But the sub plot including him was a diversion from the main more interesting plot about Jason Bourne that people came to see from the last films.
Print this reviewIt's 1970s Cold War Britain and someone is leaking secrets to the Russians. Cue a tangled web of lies, deceit and creeping paranoia.
