Jumanji (1995)

In Jumanji it is a roller-coaster ride of a film. In my opinion the film was amazing. The film is rated PG so it is kind of 11+. The director of the film is Joe Johnson. The special FX isn’t the best but the acting of Robin Williams who plays the role of old Alan Parrish was out of this world.

In my opinion I would rate this film a four and a half out of five, also I would say the best actor of this film was Robin Williams because as soon as he came into the film he brought action and humor he almost made it feel realistic. I really like how they made Jonathan Hyde play two characters in the film.

In the film Jumanji the plot of the film is in chronological order because it goes 1869,1969 and then 1995 there is a lot of non-diegetic sounds in this films and also a lot of diegetic sound for example the thumping when the boys hid the game and also gun shots from Van Pelt and another interesting thing is most of the time the music reflects the mood of the scene. The speed of the film is fast because you can’t catch a breath it has loads of action scenes and a lot of excitement. The main setting of the film is based at the Parrish house in New England.

The best part of the film I think is the storyline and the monkeys, but the parts that I disliked are the special effects and the spiders as they are little bit dated as they were from 1995

The plot of the film is a boy that finds a board game, gets sucked into a game and 26 years later a boy and a girl play the game and the boy comes back as an adult and they have to finish the game.

It was out since 1995 and you can buy it on sky or you can buy it from local retail shop on DVD or Blu-ray.
