Goosebumps (2015)

This film didn't necessarily scare me but it definitely gave me the chills! My favourite character was R.L Stine because he was as Zach said, 'A big teddy bear'. He was also really grumpy but funny at the same time! My favourite part in this film was when Slappy (A talking ventriloquist dummy) cracks his good jokes. The genre of this film was Action, adventure. family and horror. Not to give away too much but at the end there is a bit of a cliff hanger and a twist. This film was about a teenage boy called Zach who moved to Madison Delaware because his mum wanted to be a vice principal at a high school. His neighbour is a teenage girl called Hannah who is homeschooled by her mean and suspicious dad (R.L Stine). Hannah becomes friends with Zach but R.L Stine hates their relation and prefers Zach to stay on 'his side of the fence' so being friends is something that happens barely anytime. At Zach's school, he meets a boy named Champ who is obsessed with girls and was born with the gift of fear. Zach and Champ break into Hannah's home after hearing her scream to only find a large bookshelf covered in horror books. Zach accidently opens a book as soon as Hannah came down stairs. Mr stine defeats the monster and sucks it back into the book before coming home to find a large amount of garden gnomes and Slappy.
