In my opinion, this film was well made: to begin, the film used many techniques to make the audience feel emotion, be it sympathy, happiness, or even disgust. This is done through close up cinematography, emotive music and other subtle hints in sound or picture. However, the script was bland, if well acted: There was very little personality in characters dialogue.
The film is set in 1950s America, and follow the actions of a Ray Kroc, who finds a promising restaurant named MacDonald's.
But, at its heart, I could not enjoy this film because it is based on the idea that, in order to reach the top, one must push others down. The film was good, and could easily be enjoyed by people interested in businesses, or origins of (arguably) great people.
