Pacific Rim (2013)

I love this film.i love the action,i love the cgi,i love how over the top it is and i love how simplistic the story is. Firstly the action, it is amazing. The fight scenes are fun and enjoyable,the movements of the robots are just slow enough to add a sense of weight and scale to them but fast enough to not

Feel like theyre moving in slow motion.

The sound also adds to this sense of scale and weight with each pound of the punch feeling powerful.this movie gets creative when it comes with wepons with the robots using things such as shipping containers as knuckel dusters or a ship as a sword.

Next the cgi. Frankly i find the cgi amazing. The attention to detail is amazing.the designs of all the robots

And the aliens have character to them even if theyre only on for a couple of scenes.although im not suprised as the cgi is done by the legendary (pun fully intended) legendary pictures.

Now for the final (and addmitedly weakest part of the movie) the plot. If youre into the plots of films then this isnt for you. The plot is thick enough to
